Exporting Data:

If you have run a search and narrowed your full set of documents down to a smaller set, you will only be able to export that subset. This is useful if, for example, you only want to export data from a specific tag or query. To export any other documents, you will need to return to the main screen and clear the current search first.

Follow these steps to export document data to a new data load file:

  1. Tap the Data button and select Export Data.
  2. Select the Load File text field and enter a name for your new data load file.
  3. Tap the Fields to Export button and select which fields you would like included in your data load file. The fields will be exported in the order that they appear in this list. You can change the field order by tapping Edit and dragging fields up and down.
  4. To change the default comma delimiter, tap the Comma Delimiter button to bring up the comma picker. Choose which character you would like to use for your comma delimiter.
  5. To change the default quote delimiter, tap the Quote Delimiter button to bring up the quote picker . Choose which character you would like to use for your quote delimiter.
  6. To change the default new line delimiter, tap the New Line Delimiter button to bring up the new line picker. Choose which character you would like to use for your new line delimiter.
  7. If you would like to include your data load file field names as the first line in the file, switch the Export Field Names as First Record toggle On.
  8. Tap the Begin Export button to save the new document data load file to the WarRoom documents folder.
