To load images to a WarRoom project, you must first copy the images you received from a document production to the WarRoom Documents directory.
Follow these steps to copy the images to your device:
On a PC:
- Locate the directory of images that you received as part of an electronic document production. Typically the directory will be named “IMAGES”. If the folder is on a CD or DVD, copy the directory temporarily to your desktop.
- Right-click on the images directory and choose Winzip > Add to
.zip (where is whatever the images directory is named). This will create a .Zip file of the images directory so that you can easily load it to your device. - Open iTunes and click on your iOS device.
- Choose the Apps tab to see a list of the apps installed on your device.
- Scroll down until you see a list of File Sharing enabled apps.
- Select WarRoom from the list of File Sharing apps.
- Click the “Add…” button and browse to the .Zip file of images that you created in step 2. Alternately, you can drag the .Zip file to this window.

Once your images have been copied to the WarRoom Documents directory via iTunes File Sharing, you can proceed with importing your image load (.LFP or .LOG) file.
- Tap the Images button and select Import Image Data.
- Tap the Image Load File button to select the .LFP or .LOG file that you would like to load. WarRoom will import the image load data from the .LFP or .LOG file and link the entries with the images located in the Image Library folder. LFP files can contain a number of instructional codes, some of which WarRoom may be unable to process. If one of these codes is encountered, you will receive a notification and the import will skip the entry and continue.
- Tap the Image Key Field button and select an Image Key field for your project if you have not done so already. This is the field that WarRoom uses to cross reference your images.
- Tap the Zipped Images button. If you followed the earlier steps to create a .Zip file from your image directory, and copied that file via iTunes File Sharing, it will be listed here. Select it.
- Click Begin Import. The .Zip file of images will be unzipped and copied to your project, and the image data will be loaded to your project database.
- You may find that your images do not display correctly even after following these steps correctly. Most likely this is because WarRoom is looking in the wrong folder for the volume of images. You can easily correct this by tapping the Volumes button and selecting the Volume that you most recently loaded. This will display the path where WarRoom expects the Volume of images to reside. If the path is incorrect (for example, if your are within a subfolder), you can tap the path. This will bring up a file explorer where you can browse the Image Library for your project. Once you have navigated to the correct location for your volume, tap the Select Current Location button.
