Tagging Documents:

Tags allow you to mark records in your database based on various issues specific to your document review. For example, you could create a “Hot Doc” tag, a “Privileged” tag, a“Produce” tag, etc. Follow these steps to create a new tag:

  1. After importing document data, select any document in your database.
  2. Tap the Tag button to bring up the Tags list.
  3. Tap the + button to create a new tag. Enter a name for the tag and tap Create.

Follow these steps to tag a particular document:

  1. After importing document data, select the document that you would like to tag.
  2. Tap the Tag button to bring up the Tags list.
  3. Tap the Tag or Tags which you would like to associate with the current document. An associated tag will have a check mark next to it.

You can also search across all of your documents using tags. Follow these steps to search based on a tag or tags:

  1. After importing document data, select the document that you would like to tag.
  2. Tap the Tag button to bring up the Tags list.
  3. Tap the Edit button and select the Tag or Tags which you would like to use in your search.
  4. To search for documents with all of these tags, tap the Search All button.
  5. To search for documents with any of these tags, tap the Search Any button.
  6. To clear your search, return to the Document List and tap the Clear button.
