Tags allow you to mark records in your database based on various issues specific to your document review. For example, you could create a “Hot Doc” tag, a “Privileged” tag, a“Produce” tag, etc. Follow these steps to create a new tag:
- After importing document data, select any document in your database.
- Tap the Tag button to bring up the Tags list.
- Tap the + button to create a new tag. Enter a name for the tag and tap Create.
Follow these steps to tag a particular document:
- After importing document data, select the document that you would like to tag.
- Tap the Tag button to bring up the Tags list.
- Tap the Tag or Tags which you would like to associate with the current document. An associated tag will have a check mark next to it.
You can also search across all of your documents using tags. Follow these steps to search based on a tag or tags:
- After importing document data, select the document that you would like to tag.
- Tap the Tag button to bring up the Tags list.
- Tap the Edit button and select the Tag or Tags which you would like to use in your search.
- To search for documents with all of these tags, tap the Search All button.
- To search for documents with any of these tags, tap the Search Any button.
- To clear your search, return to the Document List and tap the Clear button.
